Aesthetic Science Institute
The Aesthetic Science Institute (ASI) is a premier CIDESCO aesthetics school in Latham, New York that opened its doors in 2003. It is licensed by the state of New York and accredited by NACCAS. One of only 10 CIDESCO schools in the United States, ASI offers students customized curriculum for licensure in aesthetics, waxing, makeup, and nail specialty.
MICHELLE D’ALLAIRD BRENNER
The Institute is owned and operated by Michelle D’Allaird-Brenner, a CIDESCO Diplomat, global educator and speaker, author, consultant, and chairperson for the New York State Appearance Enhancement Board. With a passion for the industry and desire for unsurpassable education, D’Allaird-Brenner has written each curriculum and lesson plan taught at the institute. The ASI educational staff are all licensed professionals, as well as licensed instructors with years of experience in multiple aspects of the aesthetics profession, as well as holders of dual licenses within the health, wellness, and beauty industries.
CONTINUING EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
With the need for ongoing advanced training rapidly growing, ASI created specialized continuing educational certificate programs in laser, paramedical aesthetics, brazilian waxing, advanced makeup techniques, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels; with new topics being added regularly.
FACILITY
The school focuses on small class size and attention to the precise application of theoretical knowledge into practical application. The operating clinic houses 12 treatment beds, five waxing and body treatment stations, two microdermabrasion stations, and a 400-square foot custom makeup studio. To further enhance the quality of education, ASI partners with top industry brands such as Metamorphosis Makeup, Babor, Circadia, Tuél, and Berodin.
Aesthetic Science Institute opens a new school in Latham, New York! The new, 12,000 square-foot building is located at 922 Troy Schenectady Road in Latham, New York. D’Allaird-Brenner says, “We know the business is growing. We just wanted to do something to invest in our future for ourselves. We’re tripling our size and we own it!” ASI currently has 58 enrolled students with a mission to train and prepare graduates for a rewarding career in the skin care, makeup, and nail industry.
