| Mission Statement: Our mission is to be a best in class global supplier of Gas inFusion™ systems. Our focus is on creating value through innovation and enhancing the value of a product or process. | |
Our focus is on creating value through innovation and enhancing the value of a product or process. We strive to maintain long-lasting relationships with our customers through excellent customer service practices, trust and high quality products.
We have developed and patented our Gas inFusion™ and Controlled Atmosphere technologies and use them in all our business sectors.
For our Oxygen Pür® topical products we create highly oxygenated water and then blend the product components in a unique proprietary fashion that encapsulates the non-chemically derived oxygen into the serums.
Here is what, inVentures Technologies Incorporated’s president John Archibald had to say during a recent interview.
Q: What is the strength behind inVentures?
A: inVentures strength is its people and their diverse backgrounds that we have brought together to develop and support world class technologies that we employ in wellness, aquaculture, groundwater/soil remediation, and carbon dioxide capture
and utilization.
Q: What is unique about your company that sets it apart from other manufacturers?
A: We have developed our Gas inFusion™ technology and have utilized it in the sectors in which we operate. We have supported the technology with research at the University of New Brunswick and the University of Waterloo. We used the technology and research to develop a topical line of products that are made with large amounts of real oxygen, not chemicals to generate small amounts of chemically derived O2 found in other oxygen topicals.
Q: Are there any new products in development?
A: We have launched two topical products this year, an oxygen serum and an oxygen serum with cold pressed pomegranate oil, which acts as a moisturizer and powerful antioxidant. Our formulating chemist and production staff are working on an eye serum which we plan to have out to focus groups later this summer for first impressions. Our intent is to follow that with a full treatment night product.
Q: What do you think about the future of inVentures?
A: The future of inVentures is exciting. We have a great group of younger people involved in our various business sectors. We are a green company and support both the environment, aquaculture and wellness sectors, all of which are critical to man’s future well being. We continue to work with our own application development and university researchers to see how the technology can be deployed to develop new products and at the same time
help people.
Q: How many representatives do you have and what territories do they represent?
A: In our environmental business, we have one of the largest representative networks with coverage in North America, Europe, Australia, Asia, India and China. Our aquaculture business is tied to one large worldwide customer. UBS Aesthetics represents our U.S. wellness business and as the wellness business grows, we have plans to expand our international presence
Q: What education and customer service support do you offer clients, both initially and long-term?
A: All our business units are supported with our ongoing research and by specific technical support personnel. Our products are robust and have long-term applications. Often, they are redeployed at different sites. We have programs to refurbish equipment and to technically support its second or third life. We have customer service for all products no matter what their age as we want our technologies used to their full advantage. In our topical products, our distribution partners have full customer support services for the products along with our websites that support proper product use.
Q: What are your goals for inVentures and how do you partner with your clients to achieve them?
A: Our goals are to continue expanding the product lines and to use our patented technologies to their fullest potential. We regularly reach out to our clients to better understand their needs and to tailor products and product offerings to meet those needs.
Q: Does inVentures support any particular causes or charitable organizations?
A: We support “Walk it Off,” a spinal cord injury rehabilitation help and charitable group. The oxygen technology helps bring relief to those suffering the attendant sores that are associated with wheel chairs and bed restrictions. We are planning to make equipment available to researchers to explore the affects of oxygen therapy on nerve and spinal cord injury.
Q: You’ve mentioned the process Gas infusion™ Technology, which your company developed and patented, what is it exactly?
A: Gas inFusion™ Technology is a global platform technology with numerous potential market uses; both stand alone and bundled with other technologies. The technology is a unique method of infusing gas into liquids with demonstrated ability to:
- Effect rapid, no bubble, gas transfer (inFusion);
- Create ultra-saturation dissolved gas conditions, e.g., dissolved oxygen concentrations of hundreds of PPM;
- Allow long term retention of very high, dissolved gas concentrations;
- Eliminate most dissolved gas losses into the atmosphere;
- Achieve gas transfer efficiencies with respect to power used, of seven to nine times that of the best conventional methods;
- Produce less dense liquids;
- Enhance performance and increase capacity of existing process infrastructures;
- Be flexible and comparatively small to be fitted into, or parallel to, conventional process technologies; and
- Be easily operated and maintained.
Gas inFusion™ is a mass transfer operation whereby sparingly soluble gasses are dissolved in liquids in a completely bubbleless fashion. The efficiency of this manner of mass transfer allows the production of stable liquid streams containing enormous quantities of dissolved gas on scales ranging from cc/min to thousands of GPM at a fraction of the energy cost normally associated with gas dissolution.
The device or apparatus of choice, which provides the maximum amount of surface area, is a hollow fiber membrane module. The hollow fibers should be hydrophobic, and ideally have a large porosity. Such a device should have:
- An exceptionally large surface area: volume ratio
- The ability to operate at very high pressures
- A high tolerance to a pure gas environment
- Inherently good flow distribution
The unique nature of the Gas inFusion™ technology allows it to be easily fit into an existing process to enhance performance and to increase capacity, or to design a ‘grass roots’ system around this unique technology. inVentures is currently focused on several market applications, including: Groundwater Remediation, Aquaculture, Food and Beverage, Process Innovation, Water Treatment and Wellness.
