Happy Spring! That is right, by the time you are reading this issue, the vernal equinox has already occurred and we should be about 10 days into spring. That means there are approximately 82 days until summer, which means tank tops, shorts, sandals, and lest we not forget bikinis, are on their way.
How, you might ask, does all this affect your business? Well, as your clients begin shedding their winter clothes, they will find they also need to remove their winter skin and hair. They’ve likely been working on dropping the extra pounds they put on in winter; and now that they are back in shape and ready to greet the world with their firmer and thinner bodies, their skin needs your help to look its best as well.
To help you in your endeavor of providing your clients with the services they want to look their best, we have focused the April issue on Exfoliation and Hair Removal. If you haven’t already began talking with your clients about these services, there is no better time than the present. Even if the client in your chair isn’t interested in the services on their own behalf, they likely have a relative or friend who very well may be a perfect candidate for them. Remember: This is the time of year for prom (what teenage girl doesn’t want to look great for this big event), graduation celebrations (lots of pool parties, which means bikini waxes or Brazilians), weddings and honeymoons (I can’t even name all the reasons this group needs you), and births (from recent articles I’ve read, many mothers-to-be are seeking hair removal services before baby comes).
By the way, these treatments aren’t just for the ladies anymore. As you will read in the articles, many men are beginning to take advantage of these services as well. So if you have a nice size male clientele, or are looking to attract that market group, it may be time to check out a class on the “Manzilian”.
