New Faces and Spaces

Mark Brado, owner of Jaazz Salon and Skin Care Center in Spokane, Wash., hosted an event with special guest Lydia Sarfati, CEO and Founder of Repêchage officially launching the salon as a Repêchage Spa de Beauté. Jaazz carries the full line of Repêchage products and services, presented by an extensively trained and knowledgeable staff.

Mark Henning has been named the general manager of Dow Microbial Control, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company. In this role, Henning assumes leadership of the world’s leading Biocides business, combining Dow Biocides and Rohm and Haas Biocides.

Murad, Inc. has named Danny Guez its new Senior Director of Global Acquisitions and New Business. In this position, Guez will be responsible for expanding Murad’s business globally, with increased concentration in areas such as South America, India, and Russia. Guez will also be responsible for obtaining distribution through developing channels for the newly launched Murad Mass Market program. In addition to increasing Murad’s global presence, Guez will help in opening Murad schools and Murad Inclusive Health Centers® around the world.

Beth Kenerson has been named Bioelements new Regional Education and Business Development Manager, covering the Midwest region. A long-time member of the Bioelements team, Kenerson had previously been a Bioelements Learning and Business Coach, where she provided comprehensive education to Bioelements Partnership Spas, and worked closely with new and existing Bioelements spas to help them grow their businesses.

Sarfati was honored as a successful leader and innovator in her field of business and was awarded with a Certificate of Recognition of the City of New York by Mayor Michael Bloomberg for her outstanding business and community leadership and a Certificate of Recognition and Gratitude on behalf of the New York City Council by Council Member Helen Sears.
