With a degree in merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Design, Vance will continue to nurture the client relationships that SeaCliff is synonymous with, while also cultivating new business and taking projects from concept to market.

Eve Taylor has just been made an OBE (Officer of the British Empire) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth for her contribution to “aromatherapy and the beauty profession” across the world. Taylor has been an influential part of the beauty profession for over 40 years; she first started in the business in 1963 and his still teaching and lecturing today at 75. Having traveled the world to promote her knowledge and products, she is now represented on every continent in the world.

L’Oréal, the world’s largest beauty company, and Light BioScience, LLC, of Virginia Beach, Va., leader in the medical research of LED (Light Emitting Diodes) Photomodulation, have signed a scientific collaboration agreement for the development of skin care devices using Light BioScience’s proprietary skin rejuvenation technology. The agreement also provides for future worldwide marketing by L’Oréal of professional devices already developed by Light BioScience to reduce the visible signs of aging.

Dr. Brian Keller, President of Equalan and world-renowned scientist and skin care expert, has made a strategic acquisition of Glyderm, a comprehensive line of dermatology-based skin care products. Keller plans to improve the line with QuSome technology and another unique, proprietary moisturization technology it has acquired. Keller plans to take Glyderm to the next level of skin care.

Taesung is one of the country’s top manufacturers of beauty product components, including airless pumps, compacts, and lipstick containers.

The NSPEP, National Society of Paramedical Esthetic Professionals, announced that its three correspondence courses are now available to non-members as well as active members of the society. The current self-study courses available through the NSPEP include the Basic Skin Correspondence Course, the Microdermabrasion Correspondence Course, and the Peels & Peeling Agents Correspondence Course. Each course begins with a textbook and study guide. Once the self-study materials are
completed, enrollees request the course exam and upon receiving a score of 80 percent or higher, a certificate of completion is awarded.
