Meet the Team
The company is a modern day “mom and pop” based in Mashpee, Massachusetts. Our team consists of Robert Trow and his wife Carol, and Barry Tatelman and his wife Susan. The first two letters of each of their names have formed the company name Rocasuba.
As a leader in cosmeceuticals and skin care, Robert Trow is committed to helping develop and perfect products that work. A simple motto, yet it is his passion and dedication that has led to the creation of effective and unique beauty formulations. Throughout his career, Robert has been recognized by industry practitioners as an authority in the science and business of professional and medical skin care and cosmeceuticals. He has been associated specifically in the skin care field as an educator, author, speaker and successful entrepreneur. Robert regularly publishes articles for professional publications covering topics from general skin care to anti-aging tips and also shares his expertise by speaking on current and emerging topics of interest at national and international meetings and to medical spas, aestheticians and physicians. Robert Trow and his wife Carol also distribute Environ Skin Care market and oversee the Rocasuba team at the Massachusetts headquarters.
Barry Tatelman, co-owner of Rocasuba, has literally touched everything from Loveseats to Lashes! Before Barry teamed up with close friend Robert Trow to form Rocasuba, he made a name for himself as a successful entrepreneur in Boston, operating the popular furniture store Jordan’s Furniture. In 1999, Barry sold the company to famous investor Warren Buffett and his Berkshire Hathaway firm to pursue other interests. Having worn many career hats in various arenas, it was not until he teamed up with Robert Trow that RapidLash® came to life. As Barry recalls, Robert came to him and requested he try the product on his semi non-existent brows. After he saw his brows literally come to life after merely four weeks of use, he knew he had to be a part of the RapidLash® launch.
The Rocasuba team currently consists of 20 Cape Cod-based employees at the headquarters in Mashpee. They also employ about 50 off-cape sales reps and product trainers.
