Dr. med. Christine Schrammek Kosmetik was founded over 50 years ago by Christine Schrammek, an experienced cosmetician and skin therapist. Born in Poland, she laid the foundations for the company, initially founding the Institute for Holistic Cosmetics and then today’s International Academy for Holistic Cosmetics, as she was convinced of the importance of thorough training. Back in the early days in Poland she had already begun experimenting with herbs and conducted contralateral studies in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Horazak. With much ambition and motivation by the beginning of the 1970s, she had brought her GREEN PEEL® herbal peeling treatment to international success.
The company, a global player with headquarters in downtown Essen in Germany, is today run by Dr. med. Christine Schrammek-Drusio. As a trained dermatologist, she consistently pursued her goal of integrating her medical knowledge into the development of the derma.cosmetics skin care series. Her practical work as a doctor in a skin clinic and in her own private practice intensified her wish to create a connection between cosmetics and dermatology. The result: dermatological skin care for visible results in the salon booth and at home. That is how the derma.cosmetics brand was born.

At the same time, Dr. Schrammek-Drusio has a great love for nature – like her mother. For this reason, Dr. Schrammek-Drusio is also devoted to the continual development of the renowned GREEN PEEL® herbal peeling treatment. Here again, the latest findings in dermatological research are used. “Beauty in harmony with nature” has been our philosophy for more than 50 years, and is still as up-to-the-minute as ever.
A peeling method with a wide range of treatment possibilities and customized treatment plans that are individually tailored to the needs of each customer. This is unique, as it is at the same time a biologically natural method which is also based on the dermatological know-how of a skin specialist.
The trend towards natural skin care products can be recognized all over the world. For this reason, the GREEN PEEL® brand has also been supplemented by more skin care products – for the work of cosmeticians in the booth and also for skin care regimes of end consumers at home. In 2013 there will be five more brand new skin care products. The philosophy behind them: they all contain natural ingredients without parabens, mineral oil, PEGs, coloring agents, et cetera.
